Currently PYA has approximately 150 children participating in a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball. Last year we had two T-ball teams, two Farm teams, a Softball team and a Little League team. In basketball, we had a 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls team and 4th, 5th and 6th grade boys team. We had a total of six soccer teams including ages 5 – 11 years old. PYA does not only teach sports, but fosters positive character development of our youth which is invaluable to the future of our community.

There was a lot of work done on the Snack Shack by magnificent volunteers throughout the town. Some of the projects included a new tile floor, installation of shelving and countertops, painting and overall organization.

Last but most important is the support and help from all of our volunteers and coaches! They were absolutely great this year. We want to thank the Town of Palermo for your continuous support. Words cannot express the impact that PYA has had within the Palermo community. We look forward to seeing the youth stars of today be the leaders of tomorrow.
